Beanstalk is all about great people coming together to address needs. For the last 15 years, Beanstalk has been working with remarkable grassroots leaders equipped with local knowledge and engaged communities. We believe that these local heroes are the greatest force for strengthening the social fabric of America, one neighborhood at a time. By providing them with access to the resources they need—funding, advising, and networking—Beanstalk aims to help these leaders thrive.

We envision a world in which all local leaders and their communities have the opportunity and the resources to help their neighbors—both in their backyards and across the country. Creating a world of inspiration, generosity and growth, these leaders and their communities strengthen the social fabric of America, one neighborhood at a time. 

As a non-profit organization, Beanstalk works with remarkable leaders and their engaged communities to address local needs. We call these grassroots leaders Gardeners and our mission is to discover and support them. Beanstalk provides advice, partnership opportunities, and social networking tools. Gardeners bring their passion, local knowledge, experience, and community.
